Congratulations, you made the right choice. You know content writing is the industry creating more than a million vacancies in every 6 months and it has become a must for digital marketing. We need to understand that content writing is not learning English but affecting or influencing the growth of a brand or a business in terms of sales and audience reach through text based content generated.
There are a host of metrics to look at when you have a robust analytics solution, but having too many goals to live up to tends to result in prioritization difficulties. I recommend content marketing teams have 2-3 metrics they measure, and perhaps some secondary metrics each sub-team can measure to help understand when there are different levers to pull. Here are my recommendations:

The content for the search engine needs to be informative and can give an explanation about the most relevant keywords. It should explain the purpose of the content or the articles and explain how people can learn about the topic from it. The relevance of the website will make the visitors visit your website and read your content. These will generate the traffic and eventually increase the ranking of the website.
There are several ways to assess website content quality. If content appears in search engines and people who find it stick around to read it, the content is well optimized, and relevant and useful to visitors. Quality content uses proper spelling and grammar, and links to authoritative external sources. You can also assess the quality of your content by checking analytics data. Pages with a high bounce rate, low time on page, or low conversion rate may have poor content.

We must know that wellness is a universal concept and we need to understand how we may be doing it in different ways. Having a clear mind and being in tune with one’s inner self are essential parts of wellness. A person who has a strong mind will not be afraid to stand up and speak out against injustice and bullying, and will be able to see past the glamour and show people that they are the best they can be. People who have a strong mind will be more satisfied and fulfilled.
Content marketing is the process of creating valuable, relevant content to attract, acquire, and engage your audience. Providing helpful and entertaining content can form a strong bond between your brand and customers that continues to grow and strengthen over time.

A lot of the good stuff mentioned before is also bad.  For example when you’re dealing with a client whose making $100,000,000/year from a product line, they’re going to want SOLID PROOF that your changes in marketing will work.  They don’t want you making changes all willy-nilly since something like a small 5% drop in sale equates to a loss of over $5,000,000!

What do you call these writers if they aren’t working in a marketing environment? My title is copywriter, but I don’t do marketing materials. I work on copy decks for UX design for functional sites, giving copy instructions for…instructions! I could be considered a technical writer, but I don’t write much. Just things like, “All fields required,” or “Please provide a valid email address.” What kind of writing is that supposed to be?


While you can sign up for content writing classes or go to college for writing, this isn’t a requirement. Many clients simply want to work with reliable content writers who can meet deadlines, accept revisions willingly, and create good content. With that said, education and experience in writing helps prove to clients you’re capable, professional, and serious.
Think about your long-term goals.  Companies like to hire people who are goal-oriented or those that already have an idea of what direction they want to take in their lives. It gives them the certainty, which is essential in executing the plans and goals of the organization. Also, if you think you love writing that much to make it your long-term career, then be ready to explain your reasons including the specific fields you would like to specialize in.
It’s also possible that lots of people are finding your page … only to learn it’s not what they thought it was. Remember the example about how many different kinds of football exist in the world? If someone is searching for a word that means multiple things, it’s important that your content makes it clear exactly what the page is about. Yoast created an excellent guide that explains how search intent works.

Ranking in Google will come automatically if your website is of extremely high quality. The reason for that: Google wants to serve its customers what they want. Their mission is: to index all the world’s information and make it universally accessible. In addition to this, Google, of course, wants to make money, but they’ll have to show people results they are looking for – otherwise, people stop using Google. So, we can agree Google wants to show people the best results. If your website is the best in your niche market, Google wants to rank it high up in the results.
The other great benefit of using a carpet vacuum cleaner is that the machine will suck up all the liquids from your carpet. P.S. – One final tip. Don’t ever use your copywriting skills to sell substandard products that don’t actually help people. If you do, a time will come when all the disappointment you’ve added unto the world will come back to you in some form. Make sure that part of your initial consultation involves you evaluating the client’s product and making sure it’s up to snuff. If it’s not, offer to help them make it better for an additional fee. Learn how good direct response products are made. Your client will appreciate the help and the world will be made better because of your vigilance.

Every day for the next 30 days hide one of those dollar bills somewhere where a real human being will find it. Be creative. Go to a bookstore and stuff a dollar inside your favorite book. You’re not allowed to wait and watch to see who gets it or what their reaction is. That’s a taking-oriented activity. You want to train your mind to be a giver. That means you don’t need to know whose day you brightened with your dollar.

The very final step in your SEO copywriting process is getting feedback. After editing your text, you should ask people for feedback. At Yoast, all the posts we write are read by at least two of our colleagues before we publish them. Feedback allows for the perspective of someone other than the writer and almost always leads to vast improvements in the post.
When the marketing team starts to grow, who leads content marketing gets more interesting. With a team of three marketers, you can approach content marketing a couple ways. Either one person can own content marketing activities, while the other two own activities that align more with the middle- and bottom-of the funnel. It's important to do regular reporting -- I recommend monthly -- on each of these metrics so you know where your growth levers lie. Regular reporting also helps you identify negative trends or plateaus early-on so you can address them before they become bigger issues. Most importantly, however, tracking the success of your initiatives makes it easy for you to repeat what works, eliminate what doesn't, and promote the success of your content marketing program so you can justify its expansion, and its seat at the modern marketing table.

Step 4: Produce and optimize your content. If you’re starting with original, high-quality content that you’ve invested real time and money to create, you’ll want to get the most out of every asset. You’ll also want to be sure your content stays fresh—out-of-date, no longer relevant content hurts your brand’s credibility. To make sure you’re getting the most out of your content marketing, remember the three Rs: 
Name recognition is important. Social media puts everything you need within your grasp. Build your audience, meet publishers and talk to industry experts. When your writing is published, the fun has only just begun. The more active you are on social media, the more likely your followers will be to recommend your content. This could be a how to guide, a safety manual for a worksite, or a document on a process or procedure. There is a growing demand for technical writers who can explain complex procedures to the average reader.

Those scenarios might have sounded like a lot of work to you, especially when considered alongside marketing programs that provide more immediate gratification -- like list purchasing, PPC, or trade show marketing that deliver names and email addresses in mere minutes. Often, content marketing is used when businesses realize those programs are either ineffective, too expensive, not scalable, or all of the above.
